*shrugs* I'll judge after I read the book. Personally, I'm a fan of Eoin. And from what I've read on his site, he holds no illusions about writing the book. His hope is that fan will accept it.

I'm going to give it a shot because I love the universe (franchise? dare I call it that? I don't want to. Star Trek is a franchise, and look what's happened to it), but I am not holding my breath and squeeing.
