A couple of days ago,
bodlon posted about Steve Perry. A former writer for Thundercats, Mr. Perry has fallen on hard times; he’s seriously ill, and under great financial strain. If you can PayPal a few dollars to his PayPal account — sandramaples48@yahoo.com — it would be of tremendous help to him and his young son.
Dear Fred,
I can't say thank you enough for the unbelievably generous money you sent to sandramaples48@yahoo.com, which IS MY ACCOUNT -- set up only for me and my son, Leo. Only I have access to it and the passwords, and only I have the debit card to make use of it. I want you to know I am so very grateful to you for being so kind, generous and wonderful -- my own fate is pretty iffy and I care most about my five year old. He has been with me 24/7 all his life, and even more so since his mother left a year ago because she could not deal with the discovery that I had cancer. Now that it has returned, the future is pretty raw, and while Leo and I face homelessness again, your kindness will be forever appreciated. Thank you so very, very much.
I am attaching a couple of things just because ... the article is from the Orlando newspaper last week, and the story is probably the last story I will ever write. I sold the rights to the character, Salimba, which was a comic book I wrote and which was drawn by Paul Chadwick, and released way back when in 3-d, and then as a pre-cursor to graphic novels. This story is new, and all you have to know is that Salimba was a back jungle girl, a female Tarzan comic, immortal, and ...weird.
The other attachments -- a guy in England is publishing a book ABOUT Thundercats and asked some of the creators to reminense about their expexperiences working on it. I got carried away, as you can see, and ending up writing several chapters. He is using one of my scripts in the book.
Anyway, I can't thank you enough. I am trying to keep the electric on, and your help might make it possible. Thank you. Thank you.
