OK, I lied: although I'm only discussing it, and not posting it in the usual sense, THIS will be the last meme quoted in my LJ in 2009:

If you had me alone, locked up in your house, for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you have me/you/us do?

All comments are permanently screened - this is our secret!

I'd turn to you (for whichever "you" is reading this) and say, "Wow, isn't this is a creepy LJ meme we got stuck in? Let's order pizza, and hope the delivery guy can find his way into this locked house I seem to have inherited."

(ETA: Please note that I'm only posting this for discussion purposes; I actually find this meme rather unnerving, and am glad I have friends who make such benign and tasteful suggestions. [livejournal.com profile] kishi, did you try under the sofa cushions?)

:)

(Odd question- have you seen Serenity? I ask because at core, much like Creator or Empire Records, it really is- to me, at least- a movie about healing.

I'd have you clean my windows. That is not a euphemism.

I would teach you how to knit! Then we would watch some excellent films and perhaps bake pizza from scratch.

(I am not very exciting. ;))

Hey! (Sometime in 2010, it would be nice to catch up over lunch somewhere, schedules permitting.)

Sure. But you know that's not what I meant!

I'd think "help me find where I lost my keys" would be a common answer.

First I would be totally excited to meet you in person. Once I got over that, a hot beverage such as tea or cocoa, a movie, and maybe crochet lessons so you could be a crafting god.

I think we should call a locksmith!

Though if you're not afraid of heights I might ask you to go up the fire escape for help, because I'm terrified of them.
