I'm still in Auckland; I'm struggling with a fatigue that seems to be part jet lag, part recuperating from pre-travel exhaustion, and part annoying cold *tragic face* My energy level keeps wavering: I was able to scramble up a 50' *extremely* sheer cliff face this morning (only to discover that the mountain in question had a perfectly nice footpath running up the other side), but had to sit and rest twice on the way back down. Am currently contemplating/planning a sky jump for tomorrow AM (take that, cold!); tomorrow, I'm planning to go on a tour of the North part of the island (including a swing by Matamata, where Hobbiton was built), but that's up in the air right now, due to health issues. Still, it's absolutely impossible to be depressed about any of this; wherever I go from here, it'll be an adventure. New Zealand is paradise; I could see myself living here.

Poor adventurer...I hope your system straightens out soon.

Shy request:
If you go to 'Hobbiton,' take pics? Or pick up a small stone for me, if you are so moved to do so?

The stone is on my desk; the pictures, alas, were lost along with most of a card's worth of images (including most of my shots of the Rivendell & Isengard garden locations), from when my time ran out on a computer to which I'd uploaded them, before I could get them all into Photobucket =/ But, hey- I found out that Hobbiton is on a working sheep farm!

(I hope that the jump was amazing. Go you!)
