Some things in this world are simply sublime; once one has had the chance to view them, one can then comfortably say to oneself, "I have now experienced this things as fully as I ever, ever have to. While I might well encounter others of its ilk, I will never again experience a one of these which so clearly deliniates the full potentiality of one of those. I have grokked it in fullness."

Serious note first:

I did some digging and discovered that the performers are a group called Phoenix Projekt (http://phoenixprojekt.net/about/), a Los Angeles based fire-eating/martial-arts performance group. Their YouTube video channel includes a Bollywood-inspired number, and something set to the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage."

However. I knew none of that when I discovered this -- I only followed a link someone posted that merely said, "And here's OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN on a flaming tuba."

It was just like it said on the tin. And thank goodness for that.

I have laughed to the point of TEARS.

IT GETS BETTER.

I've just learned that the guy actually on the tuba is one of the producers and directors for The Simpsons.

See, I'd almost expect that; the real joy for me would be if he worked for, say, Newt Gingrich.
