I'm still pleasantly astounded at seeing cacti in the wild during the bike trip yesterday; I need to do more biking outside of the city. Some of my fondest memories of the last several years involve riding through the wild during various multiday AIDS charity rides; I don't think I'll ever forget seeing the deer at Valley Forge as we rode out into the sunrise. Seeing the cacti reminds me, too, of the days when I used to have cacti (and Venus flytraps, and far too many other varieties of flora and fauna to list here) all over the house when I was growing up; someday, when I have a true home, I'll have to do that again. For now, though, time to go make life difficult for my favorite group of eleven-year-old Slytherins...

"True home"? I'm curious as to what you mean by that? Home is where the heart is. So how can a home be false? Is the place you live not a place where you're heart lives? As I said, just curious.
