Newtown, Pennsylvania is a very nice place to be spending my Friday. The company I'm working at is a pleasant, informal place; I just got some positive feedback for a good catch in a job (I queried why a D.C. hotel would have a "Capital" ballroom); the weather is gorgeous. I took a walk down the main street earlier, when buying lunch; there's a store called "The Giving Tree", which pleases me. Also, there's a very good used books/music store; I bought the U2 greatest hits CD that has "All I Want is You" on it, (thanks, oceanic!) and found, to my delight, a copy of Lloyd Alexander's Time Cat, which I've not read in over twenty-five years. (I also found a tie-in book to Alex Cox's film Walker- must order the Joe Strummer soundtrack album- and all three volumes of Danny Peary's Cult Movies series, which also delighted me.)
