Tom Poston, best known for his work in shows such as Mork & Mindy and Newhart, has passed away, at 85.

I remember him as one of the Men on the Street Steve Allen interviewed:

Yeah, I saw. It made me sad because I liked his subtle everyman kind of acting. I also saw that Dabbs Greer died on the 28th, the preacher on "Little House on the Prairie" and Bobby Picket also left us. Damn. Too many in just a couple of days.

So true. I remember seeing Dabbs Greer just a few years ago in The Green Mile; even then, he was great.
