Apparently, Serbian vampire hunters rammed a wooden stake through the heart of former dictator Slobodan Milosevic to stop him 'returning from the dead'.

Haha! I mean, I probably shouldn't laugh, but that's freaking awesome.

Of course, it's never right to desecrate a grave, but holy cow.

Holy cow, indeed!

funny phrase, I was thinking something similar when I read this line in the article.

The vampire hunters told police the three-foot-long wooden steak had been driven into the ground and through the late president's heart.

That is a lotta cow!

I almost like that better than the original story. Best bet would be to do both -- cover all possibilities. Anyone know any good voodoo/santeria/as many other traditions as we can find rituals for keeping the dead dead?

No surprise there, didn't vampires originate in that neck of the woods?

It couldn't have happened to a more appropriate person. With a monster like Milosevic, I can definitely see wanting to make certain he stayed buried.

Yeah, I mean... Isn't better to just be sure? :)

I don't even have to open the link.

Some things are just....PRICELESS...after a day in the arctic cold of the nyc school system.
