While I appreciate the sudden, regular influx of heat which our new apartment mates' arrival has occasioned, I can't say I'm quite as fond of walking into my kitchen, early in the morning, and repeatedly finding people I don't know there. (I still have no idea how long they're staying. Nor, as of last night, did the one I asked.) Yay guests; yay dividing bills into smaller parts; boo, having to deal with strangers on a regular basis, before I'm awake and caffinated. I had been thinking, before this happened, of posting to see if anyone would care to rent an approximately 15' x 12' room located in East Williamsburg (Montrose Ave L stop), with a common kitchen and bathroom (both kept clean); apartment mates, four nonsmoking cat owners/accepters; rent $500, utilities to be split among us all; if and when the landlord's friend do move on to happier grounds, I may well make such a post.

I hope it settles down soon. :/ That kind of stuff makes one nuts. It's not like you have the space to get away from the people in question.
