I saw an editorial cartoon shortly after Reeve's death which showed a kid in a wheelchair going on about what a hero Reeve was - "oh, and I think he used to be an actor."

God, he was like Gregory Peck- where the man himself was just so right- the anthesis of summer soldiers like Ward Bond or John Wayne.

Rest in peace, Mr. Reeve.
