Quick precis of my weekend

I nearly got hit by a car while biking (granted, it had been a fine ride otherwise); my ability to filter out background noise has degenerated to the point where I literally couldn't carry on a conversation with a person sitting across the table from me in a bar with loudish music (top item on "Things to do list": audiologist); my Stetson blew off of my head as I was walking across the Williamsburg Bridge, and drifted gently down to the river. Meh, meh, meh.
