A fine time at piano bar last night; a wake, which became one of our more uptempo nights there. The pianist (not Robbie; I didn't catch his name) did a fine job of energizing the crowd, leading us through a version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" that's probably the single most rockin' song I've heard since I've been there, to the delight of all. After that, and a few other perambulations, I headed home to discover that Zorikh has managed to send me a copy of his Treasure Island script which has left my Hotmail account utterly catatonic. La, what larks.

(And, welcome to [livejournal.com profile] darknerd and [livejournal.com profile] mrrranda, with a special (albeit belated) welcome to [livejournal.com profile] kristenj; good to have you all here!)

Kenny Davidsen is his name. He's apparently the late-night Tuesday guy; I think we should investigate Tuesdays again.

And Eric and Chuck doing harmonies on "Bohemian Rhapsody" was great. I think you missed Chuck and Soren doing perfect harmonies on "How Deep is Your Love" earlier. I was a really good night for singing.

I agree; Tuesdays have a charm all their own. Yes, last night was an excellent night for song, and I'm glad for that. It was very good to see you.
