Looks like I'll be in Chicago next month- if I wasn't such an abysmally poor traveller, I'd be even more incredulous than I am that this is as far as I'll ever have been from my birthplace.

Chi-town is fun! Go to the Sears Tower, look down at the street, and give rousing speeches about the disdain you feel towards all your subjects. Pizzeria Uno is great (Yes, they have a chain, but it's a pale shadow compared to the original.

Oh, and it's gonna be ballz cold. And windy.
