*distress*
Oct. 13th, 2002 11:13 pmWell, I was going to write a post about going to visit mom, and what that was like, and how we're learning to change how we interact with each other, and how the battlefield at Gettysburg was suffused with a pearlescent, fog-drenched light that rendered the experience close to sublime... but that's on hold... I've lost my hat. The hat- or rather, the Stetson. I staggered off the train at Lancaster in a sleep-deprived daze, and didn't realize it was missing until we were back at Mom's. Long story short, it's a trip back to Arnold Hatter's tomorrow, unless my politely frantic call to Amtrak lost & found at Harrisburg yields results... *gnaws on knuckles*
