As I sat down to type this, it suddenly began to rain- then, just as suddenly, stopped; I could almost hear a sonorous voice saying, "naaaaah..."

(And now, it's raining again- and slacking off again, just as I type these words. Someone is having way too much fun up there.)

I envy you. I drove around all day between Orange County and Riverside praying for rain. The sky was grimy and bloated and looked ready to burst, but just couldn't quite do it. Even now, the sun is barely shining through this weird haze. Some rain would be really nice.
