When koalas attack. No, really.
It’s hard to know how to observe the birthday of a fictional character, particularly one who, even when I’ve written him, is often less than fully self-revealing. Therefore, I’ll simply observe that according to the dates JKR gives, today is the 50th birthday of Severus Snape, and leave it at that.
(I had planned to have a celebration of sorts at
cchan8’s birthday party, which is happening tonight in Maryland; as illness makes that impossible, I suspect that slogging through more of Harry Potter and the Endless Quagmire of Backstory and Camping That Was Book 7 shall have to suffice. Well, at least I have awesome!Neville to look forward to...)
