For anyone thinking about the holidays already, some gift ideas:

Also, as a present for anyone on my flist who hadn’t heard this- Monty Python have uploaded most of their TV work, available for free on YouTube. Nee!

For myself, I got complete runs of Monty Python (not hooked up at home), Blackadder, and Fawlty Towers as early 40th birthday presents. Also, I just found that a former coworker of mine was the production stage manager for Charles Ludlam’s Ridiculous Theatrical Company, which delights me immoderately. Yay!

Muppets!

Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang race to save Christmas in a new special “A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa,” which shot on location in New York City earlier this fall.

Airing on NBC on Wednesday, December 17 at 8pm EST, “A Muppets Christmas” finds Kermit trying to rectify the situation when the Muppets mistakenly prevent three letters from getting to Santa.
