Off to the Night of a Thousand Stevies tonight- yes, it involves performing as Stevie Nicks; no, I won't be performing. Iron Man and Speed Racer this weekend, along with any revival house showings which may catch my eye. (I touted it up: I've been to all of a dozen movies in a theater this year. Man, I miss the old days of running into people on the revival circuit *sigh*) Much to my surprise, I'm already halfway through the next HP chapter: not bad, as the last several have taken an average of three months apiece. It's raining, which reminds me of doing the Boston/NY AIDS Ride, and the guy who danced in the unexpected morning downpour while singing that number until we all drenched him with our water bottles.

ETA: Hey, does anyone know where I could land a copy of the Doctor Who: Curse of the Fatal Death Comic Relief special with Rowan Atkinson and Jonathan Pryce? eBay's got squat; ditto, Amazon.

Yes, they're making a sequel to Donnie Darko- which, while a fascinating film, had a negligible gross... not to mention the fact that it's not exactly sequel-friendly. This begs the question: what other potential sequels has Hollywood overlooked?
