weekend plans

Hey, guess who got to work fifteen minutes early, due to spectacularly good luck with trains? Well and good; it gives me time to decide which T-shirt I'll be wearing on Sunday, for the 5-Boro Bike Tour. So far, it's down to the purple shirt from Boston/NY AIDS Ride #4 (alas, my T-shirt from Ride #1 is missing and presumed lost), the gray shirt from Braking the Cycle 2004, or the black- with- red- blue- and- white trim from the Blazing Saddles company, from the time I biked over the Golden Gate bridge. (While this shirt has racked up far less mileage than the other two- discounting the plane ride back to NYC- it's a sentimental favorite.) Once I have this solved, it's just a matter of biking 43 miles, in order to work up an appetite for dinner at Peter Luger with Dad; this, of course, will be followed by a sound night's sleep.

Just FYI- apparently, there's an anthology of SF stories based on Janis Ian songs out there. Who knew?
