fimbrethil celebrated her birthday last night by giving me a gift- a handmade ring, consisting of a piece of copper wire bent into three loops, with alternating blue and gold (brass) wire wrapped around the middle loop. (I'll post pictures as soon as I find my camera.) It's absolutely lovely- I love the look of blue and gold together, as in so much Islamic art- and a worthy companion to the ring I wear on my other hand, a turquoise band I bought at the Grand Canyon on my 35th birthday. Thank you again, fim :) Now, off to help clean at the Youth Hostel for Hostile Youth; then, I'll finally watch Hair, now that I have a VCR on which to do so. How's your Sunday going?
