fugaciouslover, I'm going to watch Milos Forman's movie of Hair this weekend, for the first time since its release in 1979. This will be interesting, as (apart from the singing hippies) I remember virtually nothing of the film, save for one shot of soldiers marching aboard a troop transport, and the general impression that there was an awful lot of nudity for what was supposed to be a PG-rated film. (I've seen the stage show, but long enough ago that my memories won't necessarily be helpful in comparing the two; as I recall, the stage show is more of a revue, without all the Vietnam stuff.) Hmm; a quick stroll through IMDB has some interesting tidbits (Michael Jeter in his first movie role- I'm guessing he plays the guy who doesn't want to take his socks off in front of the draft board, because he's wearing nail polish on his toenails), but nothing revelatory; it'll be interesting to revisit it after so long.
Other than that- it's been cold enough in my room to interfere with my sleep, as my bed is right by the window; I'm contemplating a space heater if things don't improve. More happily, I ran into
roadnotes briefly while on my way to work; that brightens any afternoon.
