A few notes to self...

1) Next time, try not to sit with the rest of the group between you and the piano, or you won't hear a blessed thing.

2) The walk home across the Williamsburg Bridge is a fine time to practice vocal scales without attracting all manner of odd looks.

3) If you get an amusing idea for putting paid to someone's iffy behavior, do so, even if you have to stretch.

...'nuff said.

Life's little (pleasant) surprises...

Hmm... the fact that I have an extra week's vacation time which I hadn't known about coming to me is doing a fine job of mitigating my grumpiness at being insomniacally awake until about 6:30 this morning; good thing, that. Think I'll use a day for the mo ving next Friday, as my coworkers really don't need to be in an office (albeit a relatively spacious one) with a sweaty, dirty me. A day for Mom and Gettysburg... a few days for Boston... wish I'd known about this in time for Pennsic. Next year...x
