2) John Coltrane- A Love Supreme (likewise)
3) Pete Townshend- Empty Glass (ditto *sigh*)
4) The Essential Billy Joel (not a replacement, but I did lose four albums to the music mice)
5) The Brian Setzer Orchestra- The Dirty Boogie
6) Lucinda Williams- Car Wheels on a Gravel Road
7) Sarah McLachlan- Touch (replacement copy)
...I've had my music collection stolen entirely or in part three times, and sold once (after I had sold my cameras- suffice to say, 'twas not a happy time). I can usually resist the temptation to splurge out on replacements, using KaZaa and Napster for the songs I really can't live without (after all, I've already paid for them once...) However, evil chance brought me by Academy before work, with a tax refund burning a hole in my checking account... suffice to say, I will not be walking on 18th St. again anytime soon.
...also, I'd like to wish upon the various purloiners of my collection, the joys of intimate congress with a cheese grater- and tabasco sauce as a chaser. That is all...
