Yes... It's a long work, but I have like 600 now... They've been in a bag for years, should finish them.
Actually it's called a sen-ba-zuru, and each crane symbolizes a year of peace. So if you fold a thousand of them, usually in all colours of the rainbow, attached at 10 strings, it signifies a thousand years of peace. That's why there are always a lot of these on the memorial monument of Hiroshima.
To be a real one, you can't leave your house until the sen-ba-zuru is finished. It only takes you about 28 hours of folding.
