Although we don't see each other often, I know pnh socially; the idea that he's running some sort of Star Chamber vis a vis the Hugos is, to put it charitably, a steaming load of moose muffins. Biblical matters being cited herein, imma quote Proverbs 26:4- "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him."

I can't seem to focus on doing anything substantiative today, so I'm futzing and in futzing, followed the link in yr entry back to this rant (http://www.scifiwright.com/2015/08/in-memoriam-of-the-hugo-awards/#more-14485), which has to be one of the most hilarious things I've read anywhere in a long time. This guy isn't for real, is he?

It seemed that the monster known as Vox Day is a creation entirely of Mr. Patrick Nielsen Hayden.

...okay, the idea of Patrick throwing his head back over a lab table on which a prone Vox Day reclines and shrieking "It's alive- aliiiiive!" amuses me much more than it ought to. That aside- yeah: by Sad/Rabid Puppy standards, this garbage is barely a warm-up. Poor PNH: imagine the nonsense you or I deal with on the Internet, only times ten thousand.
