Trump randos stopping by to preach about "working together" (to sing the Horst Werssel song, one assumes) or some such: 4

Interactions with a long-time friend greatly damaged by politics: 1 (mostly because I bite my tongue A LOT)

Ex-roomies from college banned because of the drivel they were spewing (including saying that all of Trump's interactions with women were consensual): 1

Fingernails bitten to the quick in the course of all this: 8

Coping, mostly, though my fingernails aren't in good shape either.

I seem to have cut off most of the dubious people, or been cut off by them, well before this. (Also, I don't really use Facebook; it's possible that if I was logging in there even semi-regularly I'd have had more such drive-by hate.) I don't know if that gives me credit for good judgment and is a benefit of being out in the ways I am, or if it's evidence of how small my social circle is.

We are seeing some of my in-laws (cattitude's sister and her family, and maybe some of the brother-in-law's kin) tomorrow, and adrian_turtle and I, and maybe Cattitude, are going to a party tomorrow night, and I hope that is peaceful and not too interesting.
