I hated the Star Wars prequels. I am merely indifferent to the Hobbit films.

(Also I cannot rewatch the Hobbit movies because I quit after the first one. I would have to just watch them. Why did I quit after the first one? Because I learned my lesson from Star Wars.)

Plus one!

I watched the trailers for the first Hobbit movie and learned my lesson from that.

As dull as the Hobbit films are, there's no Stepin Fetchit Jar-Jar Binks

The Star Wars prequels are very bad, but the Hobbit movies are bad and *booooring*.

The Hobbit Movies are largely less bad in individual scenes, granted, but you'll be sitting through terrible movies for about 2.5x as long if you pick Hobbit. So if you're stuck suffering either way, choose to suffer for shorter.

Tough question. I've seen all three Star Wars prequels possibly a total of twice - once each in the theater and tbh I'm not even sure whether we own DVDs or not. I saw the first Hobbit film in the theater and was underwhelmed; I skipped seeing the second in the theater and probably won't do so for the third, because watching the second on DVD failed to engage me. I made my choice of the Hobbit films primarily because they have more eye candy, to my taste, than the Star Wars prequels.

This question is not at all difficult for me.

No.

This question is sort of like asking which kneecap to I'd want to get shot in.

It's a choice but... Not much of one.

Probably the Star Wars prequels but only because I think given an equation comparing "talking bits" to "actiony bits" it has more talking bits than Hobbit and so I might find it easier to fall asleep.

I'd watch the Hobbit films only so I can sit there and take notes on how to edit all three down to 1 decent (but long) film. And I would cry and shake my fist in Peter Jackson's general direction the whole damn time.

That was a tough question.

I have not yet seen the Hobbit films a first time, so I believe I am not qualified to answer. Given some of the reactions, I think I will just wait until they come out with an all-in-one edited version.
