Huh- just realized I pronounce it "Care-uhh-BE-an" when referring to the noun ("A trip to the Caribbean") but "Kuh-RIB-be-an" when used as a modifier ("A Caribbean cruise.")

Not that weird; do you, for example, pronounce "address" differently when it's a noun or a verb? I do.

eta: It can also sometimes depend on the rhythm or stress of other nearby words in the sentence.
