Date: 2012-01-05 11:23 pm (UTC)And donkeys will fly tomorrow. One person cannot change a culture. Jamaicans are the most homophobic people on the face of the Earth. It is embedded into their psyche and culture and cannot change. While modern artists like Shabba Ranks and Buju Banton were the first to come out with anti-gay songs, they were only expressing what an entire nation felt. Especially the Rastafarian element. It's sad but true reality.
