I really feel like doing something crazy to get my mind off of things; right now, writing a Fear in Loathing in Las Vegas pastiche featuring Hunter S. Thompson and Richard M. Nixon is pretty high on the list.

Oh, once I knew it had happened, I would've loved hearing what Thompson and Nixon said to each other in that conversation about the NFL. (That's the Thompson-Nixon association that stays with me.)

I don't remember, though I did read that book back in the late 90s. Good book; I probably prefer it to FaLiLV.
