Huh- at some point this weekend, I'll see it, and then it will be over. From hearing my friend's brother laugh at the titles ("Harry Potter and the (increasingly risque substitute)" was quite the party game that night), to thumbing through the first book, and tossing it aside; the first movie; meeting several people who became friends, and several more who have moved to the periphery of my life; Lumosnox; Cuaron, and realizing that these movies could have a life of their own; revisiting the books in earnest; 60-odd thousand words of a fic I still hope to finish; the release parties for the last couple of books (I'll always treasure the memory of people getting so excited over books); to... here, at last. Quite the slice of time, that.
