I need a weekend to rest up from this weekend. Not a drop of alcohol, but I'm utterly fried. Am out to see if a field trip to the block where Spike Lee shot Crooklyn can help me recover. (Why? 1) It's one of my favorite Spike Lee movies. 2) It features a strong female character- two, actually: Troy and her mother- which is a pleasant surprise in a Spike Lee film. 3) Perhaps most saliently, it's a walkable distance from my apartment.)
