Here's a headline I wasn't expecting to see- well, ever: Stephen Baldwin sues Kevin Costner over technology to fight oil spills.
Hey, remember the Hitchcock/Truffaut interview book from the '60s? FilmDetail has put the original recordings of those interview sessions online.
Edward Gorey exhibition + Boston Athenæum = WHY YES, THANK YOU.
Also, all you Sherlock Holmes fans have heard of the Victorian London site, yes?
Also also, Russian scientist Kirill Yeskov rewrote Lord of the Rings from the point of view of the losing side; more details (including a link to the work itself) available here.

Date: 2011-02-17 10:04 pm (UTC)The Baldwin-Costner thing gives me a chuckle. It seems from my initial perusal of the article that SB may be suing KC to keep from looking like big fish attacking the little fish, since it would be his and the company's job to keep him informed, not Costner. But then, what do I know, eh?
