Happy 41st anniversary of the release of Love Story, released 41 years ago today. I'm somewhat bemused that Google has used a reworked version of the original paperback edition artwork as their logo today; part of the original "Love Story" cover art hangs on the wall at the ad agency I work for, in fact. (Picture below.) It's also- thanks for the reminder, Chris- the 20th anniversary of the release of Silence of the Lambs, which was actually released on a Tuesday (as in, they wanted to release it on Valentine's Day, counter to normal studio release practice; I'll merely note that the studio in question has since gone out of business, and leave it at that. Huh - I only knew that artwork from the stamp.

And your zombie story remains genius. A perfect antidote to too damn much sap, both in the movie and in Valentine's Day.
