Actually, this was my first post-Tom Baker Doctor; it was quite an engaging return to the series, all in all. This Doctor is definitely feeling his oats; must remember, however, not to have him over for dinner anytime soon. (For one brief moment, I was imagining crossover fic involving him, Hector Barbossa, and a single apple... well, no.)

-Huh, for a moment, all this "Prisoner Zero has escaped" business had me expecting a one-armed man. Actually, this Doctor would fit in rather well in that universe, although he may be a bit too perky for it.

-The Doctor is signalling a group of aliens who are broadcasting messages to Earth, before threating to destroy it, by using his nifty extraterrestrial gadget? Doctor, is your last name actually "Prefect?" (Actually, I think Adams would have loved this.)

-Did the business with the catatonics calling for the Doctor remind anyone else of the "We are coming" business from Children of Earth? (I still need to see that, although I've absorbed quite a bit through osmosis.)

-Doctor Who has Brain-O-Vision^TM!

-Montage of previous Doctors with Smith stepping out and saying "I am the Doctor," I <3 you.
