I used to meow classical pieces to my boy Ocelot, who would look confused and then meow in response, finishing the bar.
Meow-meow-meow-meow-meow-meow MEOW meow: meow!
He'd only do the one, so I had to pick phrases that worked with that final meow as punctuation!... People couldn't get over it!
(Of course, I could see that he was simply super-confused, and I could tell that the meow was inquisitive, but it worked, so I wasn't going to complain!)
