1) - Dumbledore's trust in Snape as you mention -- we need to know the why, and to a certain extent the timeline of when he switched sides and when who knew about it. - Prophecy issues -- does Harry have to die to kill Voldemort, and if not, what's that business about death in the prophecy -- that has to be made to make sense. - Narcissa (she's not a DE but how strong are her sympathies? Have they been changed by the position Draco was put in? There's a lot of issues of her emotional life that inform a lot of things on that side of the equation, and while we don't need to know, I think it makes any tale richer). - Pansy -- into Draco because he's a Malfoy or into Draco? - Draco: Marked or not? - Lucius -- safe in prison? mind-raped by Dementors? escaped? or what?
2) If I fucking knew. Kali and I are having a devil of a time figuring out what's active and where people are reading these days.
