a few quick things
Mar. 17th, 2003 04:43 pm-Am sorting through my first three rolls from this weekend; the results are highly encouraging, and I'll scan some tonight, Zorikh and the gods permitting.
-Second voice lesson tomorrow, which means still more of me singing the same two songs for an hour or so tonight. If Zorikh wasn't so proactive about practicing his subway busking, I'd feel guilty.
-Glasses won't be ready until the end of this week; my desk will be delighted, as my pending list has taken on Alexandrian proportions. Made my way through a fascinating book on the coelacanth; otherwise, mostly just comics, photo manuals, and other image-heavy, text-light goodness.
-DVDs still not here, but accounted for, at least.
-Got dragged by nefarious friends from college to Lost in La Mancha, which is more entertaining than it has any right to be (until the end, of course. Having had the same medical condition as Jean Rochefort, the scenes leading up to the film's abandonment were even more excruciating than they would have been otherwise). Guess this is as good a place as any to state that between Hearts of Darkness and this, I'd really be delighted to see Orson Welles no longer used as a shorthand referent for unfinished film projects, okay? Thanks.
