...and here I was just getting nicely acclimated to the idea of these oddly warm winters of late presaging global warming, or some such. Next we'll having an actual white white Christmas- bah, humbug!
...and, in the plate o' shrimp department: I'm talking to my nephew on the phone last night, and the subject of Laika somehow comes up. I'd always wondered, in a back of the mind sort of way, about Laika- where she actually survived, how long she'd been able to breathe, and so forth. And now this... sorry, pup.
