Damn fine birthday party for reive last night; saw and met FAR too many people to enumerate here (hi, all!) Many wonderful conversations (included being serenaded by the Bulldog Twins); much laughter; good walk home afterward. Am currently rereading The Persian Boy for the first time in- oh, gods- seventeen years? (And thank you for lending, reive; shall return soonest.) Have dragged myself away from some urgent Dr. Who watching (the one with the lighthouse and the fog) to go into the city for a badly needed (but properly moderate) workout; was going to go to another b-day tonight, but that seems to have imploded. Instead, Zorikh is hosting a reading of Titus Andronicus at our place, and I'll be attending that- perhaps I'll put on Sweeney Todd first, for atmosphere...

I think it went well; although I too was killed in numerous ways. Besides, who else there could do three characters at once? Do you actually have some actor training or is that something that just comes naturally? Right about now I wish I could plead a good beheading as excuse for not studying. Oh well, think I'll just put some more coffee into aforesaid head and hope it jumpstarts the brain. Interesting Journal.
