Back in 2005, a full-scale replica of Satsuki and Mei's house from My Neighbor Totoro was created for the World's Fair held near Nagoya, Japan. (This makes me want to write Grave of the Fireflies crossover fic where Totoro comes to their cave bearing a huge sackful of food and medicine, and SCREW anachronisms.)
