"I thought you were dead."

Just back from watching Escape From New York at the New Parkway with my friend rezendi. Two thoughts that always go through my mind when I watch this movie: 1) were the altered details of NYC's layout (ie, "69th Street Bridge">) intentional? 2) Every time I see Snake shoot off the hand of that Crazy in the apartment above the Chock Full O' Nuts, I keep expecting to see the name tattooed on the hand's knuckles, as per the Mike McQuay novelization...
