Transgender-themed documentary Southern Comfort to become a musical. From what I remember from trying to watch the DVD several months ago¹, this could actually be wonderful, if handled properly.




¹Alas, the viewing degenerated into a constantly skipping mess, an all-too-frequent hazard with DVDs from the Jefferson Market branch of the New York Public Library².

²Although mind you, I love that I found it at the library to begin with- and that it's obviously a popular viewing choice.
