Operation Freefall
Mar. 22nd, 2011 01:03 pmThis is a repost on behalf of my long-time friend Megan; trust me when I say that she's Good People, and that Operation Freefall is an excellent cause.
Cut n' pasted from her:
Greetings, friends!!
As you may know, I'm once again participating in Operation Freefall, a fundraising campaign to benefit SOAR.
I'll be jumping out of an airplane with a group of amazing women (and one supportive husband of one of the amazing women) on April 30th. To participate in the fundraiser, I need to raise another $174 in the next11 8 days.
In the face of all that is happening in the world, I feel awful asking for money that could be going to the Red Cross.
But I'm going to ask anyway.
This project means a great deal to me, and I hope you will consider donating if you can.
Blue Skies, everybody!
