I once posted a different picture of a steampunk Dalek; this one makes me just as happy.

Hmm; of the three Torchwood ideas I'm mulling over (thanks again, Jen WINOLJ, for introducing me to this wonderful madness), there is 1) A serious, not at all cracky idea; 2) An idea that uses a seriously cracky idea as a format for discussing some serious issues, and 23) an idea that will probably get the warning "ABANDON HOPE AND SAN POINTS, YE WHO ENTER HERE." Alas, with the week I've had (except for yesterday afternoon- lunch with [livejournal.com profile] roadnotes- which was lovely), I seem to be leaning to #3. I don't know; I find writing utterly mad, chaotic things to be a nice mental purgative. Like dropping acid without actually visiting bat country, I suppose.

San Franciscoers (Franciscans? Franciscese? What is the proper demonym?), I'll be in your fair city from the 13th-16th; let's say hello!

Nahij Jaroudi's impressively twisted animated version of Poe's “The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar." Creepy and odd; short.

Star Wars woolen figures (knitted?crocheted?)(either way, they're called "Amigurumi").

Same thing, for Lord of the Rings.
