Update to the Steve Perry disappearance situation- at the advice of a friend, I've taken the emails from him off of LJ; I've left a voicemail for one of the detectives investigating the case; now, I'm going to try to relax a bit, and see what happens next.

Update #2: have now emailed the police's crimeline email, offering to forward the emails in question. Am now taking myself offline for the moment, and attempting- somehow- to relax.
