Four Frazettas, and a link
May. 11th, 2010 12:45 pmGoodbye, Frank Frazetta.
( It’s a shame that Frank Frazetta didn’t do more Tolkien-themed work- as this piece, of Eowyn battling the Witch-king of Angmar, ably attests. )
( One more Frazetta reworking of Tolkien: Gollum )
( On the other hand, while many people believe this to be a depiction by Frazetta of a Ringwraith, it isn’t; it’s a 1973 painting entitled ‘The Death Dealer’ which the group Molly Hatchet later used for the cover of their 1978 eponymous album. )
( Nothing to do with Tolkien, but one of my most treasured childhood memories: Frazetta’s imagining of King Kong. )
