By now, you've heard about the Polanski rape arrest- and it most assuredly *was* a rape- and while I don't have much to say beyond what has been said already, there's a petition to have him brought back to the States to face due legal process. (Yes, I know that the victim has said that she has forgiven Polanski; no, forgiveness and due legal process are not one and the same. I'm not saying I want him to suffer for all eternity; I do want him to undergo due process of law, however.)
