two music-related bits of data

1) Having finally caught up with the Battlestar Galactica miniseries, I was completely, absurdly moved that they used Stu Phillips' theme from the original series as fanfare for the Viper flyby (and my goodness, have Cylons ever changed from when I was a lad!)

2) I had a dream the other night that Tina Turner was playing Frank n' Furter in a remake of Rocky Horror, and that she sang a Private Dancer/Sweet Transvestite mashup during publicity for same:

"I'm a sweet transvestite,
doing the Time Warp-
any step to the left will do..."

(It occurs to me that knowing how piano bars roll, I may actually have heard this there at some point. If so, my memory ain't tellin'.)
